The process of redesigning the EMU website involved taking a hard look at what was really important and breaking down it’s different audiences and prioritizing them. So what is the point of the homepage for a small university where the main revenue stream is from undergraduate students? Well that sounds easy but navigating all the various stakeholders is no small challenge, but yes, it’s got to be focused on attracting undergraduate students. Of course the numerous other audiences are part of this design but they are secondary.I worked with a team of talented folks to come up with concept and user experience for this website. It continues to be the most important enrollment driver for the university.
